What a year
Now that this school year is almost over, how has it gone for everyone? This year was my worse year every. I have had to break up 21 fights this year, had 4 death threats, 4 knives brought into my classroom and was laid off at the end of the year so my school district can hire 4 new football coaches.

Wow... Like you said what a year! Seems like every year goes faster and faster. It really disgusts me to think where some districts priorities are. I am very sorry to hear about your replacement to hire football coaches.
ReplyDeleteI agree...what a year! Your year sounds much like the year one of our sixth grade teachers has had. She has had to break up several fights, been threatened by gangs, her portable has been vandalized and spray painted with gang grafiti, she's had to break up fights between parents, really, the list just goes on and on. I too am sorry to hear about your replacement. But I know you will bounce back to an even better job. Good luck.
