Monitoring game plans

I have been confrencing with our technology coaches to find get more about differnt ways to use the smartboads and how to incorporate them into the lesson plan. The versatility of the boards is amazing. One of the coaches uses Skype to confrence with other classroom throughout the world. I am looking forward to learning more about this technology. I think my students would benefit greatly from this kind of interaction. My students really do not realize that there is a big world outside of South East Ga.

  1. I'm a Georgia teacher, too! I very recently started using Skype in my classroom, with my interactive whiteboard. I have a Promethean board. The students have really been impressed with it. My students also love any time they get to use the board, even if it is just to click through a PowerPoint, or access a website. Virtual Field Trips are great with these boards, too.

  2. It's great to see you are seeking out resources and using your colleagues. Many teachers I have came into contact with simply use their smartboards to display notes which we have read is not the most effective way of using this resource or teaching. I would love to hear some of your ideas on how to implement this technology into your lessons.
