Final reflection for EDUC-6715I-2 New and Emerging Technologies

This was another eye opening course for me. I liked hearing about the horizon report on new technologies. It is something I will be reading regularly. The new technology that I plan to use in my classroom in the future are learning modules. The assignments for weeks six and seven made me think about how difficult it could be to be able to use the new technologies in the classroom. With budgets the way they are I can not see my school district paying for gaming software even though it would be a great way for get the student's attention. I feel this class will help me work towards getting technologies approved in my school district and also apply for different sorts of funding and grants. In all this class and my other classes have made me aware of many different technologies that I had not know before or not thought of using them in an educational setting. I can't wait to try and use them in the classroom
